Can I run an official sky card in my vu+ solo receiver?

I use my Sly card in my ET 9000... No HD but it works,,, and not bothered to be honest as I get freesat HD (BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4. BBC News HD) ..

You'll not be able to view premium hd channels, so if wanting hd channels, you will have to use an official sky receiver.
