As per the title, I want to change the section order in favorites, so Entertainment is at the top etc.

Can it be done?

TIA

Open the bouquets list and press menu. You should then see move options.

Will these stay put when AB scans again?

No, ABM will overwrite them.

No, ABM will overwrite them.

Thats a shame. I've moved the Favourites bouquets for easier access, its a shame that each night it moves back to the end of the list.

Surely there should be away to save them? That's a bit poor.
Waste of time setting it up then.

You can use dreambox edit to save your bouquets, takes seconds

This is what I've done and when ABM runs over night it changes the order back to defaults.

Heard about Dreamboxedit, will have to look if it's available for mac?
Can you point me to any tuts, on how to save AB.

Does this mean it will still scan?

So no point trying Dreamboxedit then?

theres a few tuts on google, i dont run ABM every night, i scan manually when and if i need to, i also use rats bouquets updater plugin for sat (its a nice list) and ABM for cable, so you might be worth trying rats bouquet its an enigma2 plugin

You can easily set-up a favourites or any other bouquet that won't get overwritten by ABM, just give it a try.

Op will then probably moan that ABM is not updating the favorites he's created :)

I think the point is that when you move the Favourites bouquet from its default location at the end of the bouquet list to further towards the top that when ABM next runs it moves it back to its default location. I just want Favourites bouquet to stay wherever I put it in the list of all my bouquets.

Did you have a look at ABM 'configure', 'Place bouquets at'?

Thanks everyone for your help, I've decided to leave it as it is.
Need to start using the box instead of to much tinkering.

I'm also sorted. I changed the ABM config to create a custom bouquet of my Favourites which is now the default selections.

I have further questions on the EPG and Autotimers which I'll raise separate threads for :-)
