Hello,
1)
I have an IOMEGA (1T) network drive. I succeeded to map this drive on my VU+ Duo (under the /hdd directory) and I am able to watch movies from that drive.
PS: the mapped drive is displayed like a hardisk under the "Media Player" menu.

2)
What I want to do now is simply to record on this drive using the VU+. When I am trying to do it, I am receiving the message "No hard disk has been found or initialised".

Another question, is VU+ Duo DLNA Compatible?

Thanks to help me.

have you tried going to

Menu, Setup, Vix Menu, Device manager

and try set mountpoint to /media/hdd

Thanks for your fast reply,
unfortunatelly, there is no hardisk menu under the setup menu. It seems that the folders mapped under /hdd are not recognized has a hard drive.
I am going to investigate more deeply.

If you have any idea on how to record on a network drive, your help will be very appreciate.

Thanks again.

Go into Settings | Mount Manager (it's in the settings somewhere)

Edit the current Mount (HARDDISK or whatever you called it) and tick 'Use as HDD Replacement?'

It will then use the networked drive like it would use an internal hard drive, albeit with terrible reprecussions for HD unless you have a great gigabit wired network.

Thanks MalteseMick, It 's working now and even for the HD.
