Just bought it last week and set up to work with the rest of my pc but cant set it up to do auto back up of my main pc.

Also have enabled DLNA on the readynas but its not being picked up by my PS3.

Any one else using this and share knowledge how to set it up?

PPS how do I enable it as a share for my VU and DM7020 - did it as a CIF share (enabled on RND) and it would not mount.

TA

Ok sorted the DM7020 and works a dream but does not like MKV files.

THe 7020 chipset does not work with mkv files does it?! Would need a chip that can handle mp4/mkv...

Does it work ok on the duo?!

The DM7020 is sorted and happily streaming VOB files but I cant figure out how to mount it in the DUO though

I sorted figured it out when I realised MKV tended to be bluray conversions and clicked it needed HD capability

For the readynas on the ps3 I use twonky it's really good also the ps3 can't handle Mkv container so use a program mkv2vob hope this helps

Why does the PS3 not see it with DLNA enabled on the readynas?

Will give the PS3 media server a go.

Any suggestions on how to mount it on the DUO?

PS3 Media server has to be run on the PC, Twonky Media server can be installed on the readyNas so you don't need your PC turned on
