Have you tried with cable straight into box and then a loopthrough cable from tuner A to tuner B?

Have you reconfigured your tuner settings when putting cable straight to receiver? So Tuner B would say Loop through to Tuner A?

have you setup A & B exactly the same? make sure that you are not recording two channels at once. if you record (one channel), try pressing up arrow and see which channels you can watch and the ones that are not, which will look darker. when you are recording two channels, there is some channels you can watch and most one cant. if you get this, then re=setup your tuners and scan again

have you checked that the two sat feeds are not loose from box of box?

the only other thing I can suggest is a re-flash. are you using ABM?

I read a similar thread an another forum and the solution was to update to the latest version of the cam software. Thinking about it that may have been a twin sat tuner. Worth a try anyhoo.

Can you upload a picture showing connections at rear of receiver?

Also your splitter too.

Post screenshot of tuner config, do both please.

How did you scan channels?

Scanned thru abm

You lose 4.7db/3.6db of signal on each of those outputs. You would be better off not using splitter. Use the loop-out port to connect to second tuner.

Edit: just read again and see you have tried already.

Can I double check that ITV works fine only with one tuner active?

No The losses in a good quality cable a metre long are negligible. Short loop cables of a few inches are only used for cosmetic reasons.

Danielaki85

Yes it works fine with only one running

Please take a look at this guide when you get a chance

As you can see, there is contradiction to what you said earlier. You said that there is only one ITV, but your picture shows lots of them. On cable, the SID not found in PAT normally comes up when you select a channel not intended for your area. This is why I am asking which menu/bouquet you select it from.

If you have enabled not-indexed in ABM menu, please deselect it.

Danielaki85
19-05-15, 22:37
It's set to no under include not indexed channels sorry for that earlier never realised ya can group the channels together like that

That picture that you posted in post#22 - the splitter looks very similar to a standard Virgin splitter one output is for a Cable Modem and the other is for your set top Box, i tried one ages ago and i could not get a picture using the Cable Modem outlet
