It should work fine i have had a 3TB Toshiba in my Duo2 for ages without any problems :)
i should add that i got the 5900rpm model and not a one that runs at 7200rpm

That's one of the reasons also the slower spin speed tends to produce less heat, and as the Hard Drive is mainly used for recordings you do not need the fast access times like in a PC so you get less noise and a cooler running drive, all of my receivers apart from 1 have 5000rpm drives and the only one that i ever hear is the 1 with the 7200rpm drive going to have to change it soon :)

I should not see a problem with 4TB my two 3TB Drives are working fine the only problem that i have found with the 3TB drives is that i tend to record more programs than i can watch :D
