You can override the built-in bootlogo.mvi and backdrop.mvi by dropping your own ones into /etc/enigma2.

Is there any reason why you can't do the same for radio.mvi? This seem to hard-wire the usage of /usr/share/enigma2/skin_default/radio.mvi.

will ask about it,
unless you can supply a patch/pull request for it? it sounds like the best way to go if it indeed isnt skinnable as such.

Although for me it's not urgent, as I've just added an update of the fixed-path file to my init.d "background randomizing" script.
