Video playback freezing and picture & sound out of sync

When playing back media files stored on my internal hard drive of my Technomate Nano2 Super the video files play back first ok but then for example when holding down the >> button to bring up the Seek menu then pressing the OK button the video will seek 5 mins and then when it starts to playback the video freezes, jumps and eventually starts to playback sort of ok but with video and audio out of sync. Same applied with Hades.006

Works and plays back same video files ok with Apollo.166

Hi try using number keys on your remote when playing back a recording or media file like 1 and 3 for 15 seconds forward or back 4 and 6 for 5 mins i think and 7 and 9 for 15 mins i think but just a rough idea for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, tried that but picture jumps ahead then pictures freezes and jumps frames, sound is still playing in background. Spinning VIX logo also appears in top left corner of TV.
