View Full Version : CCCAM stops working since upgrade to Hades Build 008

All was on Zeus 003 for 12 months with no issue.
Worked 100%.
Then last weekend I re-flashed (no settings restore) with Hades Build 5.
All seemed fine except CCCAM 2.30 (from plugins) failed after 30 mins or so the cam stops working and sometimes its only the picture that goes..
If I restart the CCCAM in softcam manager the cam works fine.
I tried old versions of CCCAM and it made no difference.

Have a backup from Zeus 003 that I can go back to but would prefer to stick with Hades.

Anyone have any ideas....

Nope; CCcam 2.3 works fine here.
On which channels does it stop working?

Remember CCcam is pretty old and closed source. So it is inevitable that issues creep in. Maybe a good moment to start using Oscam?

Got up this morning and went into cccam on the blue button but choosing any option the DUO2 locked up completely.

I restored the backup I have of Zeus 003 and cccam 2.14 for now.
My Wife is off work after an OP and the constant locking up of CCCAM wasn't good.
Also my recordings were all failing with 00:00 recorded.

I have set a few recordings this morning to see if Zeus 003 is still OK...

Rob I haven't used OSCAM and you might see if this is the correct process..

1 - Install oscam (latest ) from plugins
2 - Convert cccam with cccam2oscam.exe to oscam.server and copy to var\etc\tuxbox\config
3 - reboot

Is that it ?
Will it detect my card ?
Lastly will I need CCCAM on my DUO2 at all then....

I have no idea about cccam2oscam. I made my own config and all works well (and config-files go to etc\tuxbox\config).
Once properly setup CCcam isn't needed.

cccam 2.3.0 working fine here.Even on decoding 4 channels at the same time.

Yes, but CCcam crashes on certain services.

Is there a way to use OSCAM Instead of CCAM any walk through of doing it

cccam 2.3 working perfectly using Hades on this side.
