tm twin oe vix image downgrade

hi been having some issues with my tm twin oe scrambling some channels when looking for programmes

it seems a common problem and think i will wait until hades is stable

there is a section that tells tm users to revert back to previous vix image

if i flash the image to my tm sat box will i have to set up my sat box as a new flash or will it have stored my settings from image 166

having tried it the answer is yes. all stored settings have gone back to default :eek:
