EPG channels showing different from what's actually on screen. Tried crossEPG downloader still the same. It's not every channel, some are ok.

Thanks

Further to the EPG problem I have the same EPG channel showing two different programmes at the same time. One is showing on from 13.04 -15.34. The second which is correct is showing on 14.05 - 15.40. Time now is 14.15hrs.

How can one channel show two programs at the same time?

That's what I'm trying to find out. If I pick the left (wrong prog) the EPG picks the correct channel that's actually on.

It is possible when you get the EPG information from different sources for the same program.
I had it by accident when I dowloaded EPG from Rytec, manipulated for my cable channels and also got EPG from my cable provider the same time.

This is the ghost channel

42468

The correct channel

42469

The ghost channel wasn't the previous programme.

Don't use two sources for the same provider. As the EPG for 28.2 is available on the satellite, best to use just that that instead of internet based one. This will prevent corruptions/conflicts as you have discovered. If you prefer internet based one, don't enable openTV EPG in cross epg downloader.

Please delete the existing EPG and try following:
