Vi duo won't do software upgrade

Hi guys I'm new to this forum so bare with me I've just acquired a vu duo box it was last updated dec 2012 , every time I try & do a software update a background check is in progress please try again in a few minutes message come up can anybody help .cheers regards john.

Hi john,im afraid you wont be able to update from such an old image,if your fine flashing your duo you need to download and flash with latest image to get all the benefits of ABM etc.images can be downloaded from the forum at the top,not sure if you may need to flash bootloader first.someone else might answer that for you.
