updating software

[Oh Crap]

I was trying update software on vu+duo2. And it doesn't seem to update. Also I've tried to uninstall picons nut they don't seem to remove.
I'm wondering do i need to do a full flash Update? I've tried to do one from the receiver but no joy L.

It is clearly said in red print in the Hades release thread posting

"OpenViX Hades is based on the OE-Alliance v3.0 core and requires a full reflash, it is recommended NOT to restore and setup fresh."

You can download the image straight to the receiver by going to the Vix menu -> image backups -> yellow button for downloads, select the Hades image and download with green button.
Then press exit once to go back to the image backup directory, select the downloaded hades image and flash it with the blue button.

just do a flash with USB stick.Maybe wait until feeds are stable again for downloading plugins.

That may have been because of the feeds being set unstable when you tried.
