Channel lists & DBE

Hello,
Can anyone please help with this, using VU+ Duo2;

I have used a channel list and update with DBE. When I send to receiver and restart it's all fine, and the receiver only contains the channels exactly as per DBR list.
But whenever I visit a satellite it seems that the channels change names, some channels are added to the list, many duplicates are added, ie. same channel name, same frequency, etc.
Why does this happen.

Should I be able to keep the list exported to the receiver, without any Automatic changes. Am I doing something wrong.

E2 adds channels by background scan, but these changes don't show in your channel list, just in lamedb.

E2 uses whatever name the channel is transmitting, unless you change it definitively in DBE.

Thanks Huevos, So if I remove lamedb, will my channel list always stay as is.

And, can I stop the continuous background scan

If you remove lamedb file, then you have no channels.

There is a setting in DBEdit which allows you to specify name does not get updated (sorry not too sure what it is). Alternatively, you can disable background scanning.
