Recording from MediaPortal question

Back again

I've installed mediaportal on my vu+duo and the amount of feeds there is amazing but how do i download them to my hard drive

do you have a MediaInfo entry in menu, extentions? If yes can you open it?

Hi.
Download Mediainfo from the plugin menu.
Launch MediaPortal and then press the menu button, this will take you the MediaPortal setup screen.
Scroll down to "Mediainfo on key" and select either HELP, PVR/INFO or RECORD. Press OK to exit.
Start playing the stream, press the button assigned to launch Mediainfo and then press Green to start downloading the stream.

yes it's there. when i open it it shows the program name at the top, then Downloads:0/0 (2) - Wait: 0 - Complete: 0 - Error.0. The remove, download, start/stop and setup option at the bottom are not highlighted. In mediaportal when stream is running and record button on remote is pressed, mediainfo opens and the very top line has changed to Stream -1 B - Bitrate: -8Bits/s - Buffer: 97 filled (-5085594 sec.). The rest stays the same

Tried that and getting message 'Felher: unknown url type: rtmp

Not sure if you can download RTMP streams. it works for you tube clips.

Hi,
recording of rtmp only possible with rtmpdump but I think it is not supported by MediaInfo. Try other streams.
