Unmount HDD and mount in new DUO2

Hi Guys,

I want to take my 2TB HDD out of my DUO and put it in a duo2 without wiping. It wont let me unmount, saying toc check if I have timers or swap file set up which I dont. Is it possiblle just to replace with another HDD and put the 2TB in my new Duo2 without wiping data please?

You can use it in new receiver. Make sure you do NOT initialise it.

Possible reasons you cannot unmount the drive is that it is in use for timeshift.

Shut down or place in deep standby receiver using standby/power menu.

As abu says you dont need to unmount the drive first, just power the receiver down and swap it over.
