As above, it is not possible to change passwords via Tapatalk, you need to do that via a pc and then input the new password into tapatalk when asked to.

Tapatalk tries your old password every time you login so I've ended up locked out for a while because of it. The 30 day password change is a pain in the arse!

That may be but its not going to change.

I was stating a fact, not asking for it to be changed. Ideally tapatalk needs to inform you to change password rather than blindly trying the wrong one.

Is there any possibility this can be extended to 90 days, having to come up with a new password every month on top of many others is aright pain in the ar#e and besides which isn't it a little excessive as far as security goes?

Let's vote on what the members want 30 days or 90 days, mines 90 days.

The 30 day password thing does seem a bit pointless to me.
Does everyone on here really create a new password every 30 days?
I just re-enter my current password in the 'new password' field, so i have the same password now as when i joined the forum. I have never changed it.

There is no need to use a new password every month just use 2 passwords and alternate them 1 month use say abcde and the next month use 12345 then when asked to change use abcde again been working fine for me for ages

There will be no discussion and no vote either, the password reset is 30 days and its staying as 30 days, end of discussion.

Just use the old password. Simple.

I don't see the need for a vote, but if you can use the same password when it asks you to change it or a similar from last time round then surely security is flawed? I mean how safe is it that you are using the same password time and time again. Is it not that the whole point of changing the password is to keep on top of the game as far as hackers are involved?? Except being able to keep using the same one isn't , so why implement the need to keep changing password every 30 days when obviously from some posts peeps are doing this? Not going off on one , just don't understand the 30 day stance on this, could someone explain this to me please?

Why do you have to change your password every 30 days its a bit silly really and the post above states you can just use your old password?

maybe better that a mod closes this topic. Is old an has no meaning cause you change it as is asked by forum or you leave the forum.Look at all the unnesesairy discussions in the past.
