I have a Vu+ Solo2 on latest Apollo 166 build and no such issues here.

What exactly do you mean by jerky ?, be as specific as you can. It could be that your dish is slightly misaligned if as you say it is affecting both FTA and premium channels.

I'll try to explain - it's like playing a video on a PC with a graphics card that can't handle it.. Motion isn't smooth as it once was.

When viewing via webIF the stream quality is fine - had it been an alignment issue then I'd have expected to see it there too.

Have you tried it on a different TV to rule that out because if it's not doing it when streamed to a PC it would suggest a issue on the TV rather than the receiver (at least thats one of the first things I would be trying to rule out).

Don't have access to another TV
Currently set to 1080p/ 60hz - will try 50z instead and switch off any image processing options on the TV and report back

noticed the jerkiness for the past couple of months - prior to that all was fine - physical setup (HDMI cable, TV, etc) hasn't changed.

-1 MB must be the internal 40HB HDD - which I no longer use - the box now points to a NAS device on the network for storage.

Hi imish,
where do you live? 60Hz is used in the US, Japan and I think Australia but not in Europe.

Yeah 60hz seems to be your problem...

As above 60Hz is a American standard, so change to 50Hz and you should be fine.

Video Quality seems to be fine - ensured that all picture processing is OFF on the TV and set it to 50Hz.

QQ - should I set the TV and box to 1080p OR 1080i?

Hi,
1080i/p does not make a big difference try it. Box MUST also be set to 50Hz or multi.

Hi,
I have 1080i because this is the format it comes from the sky.
