Hi
Just tried to install a plug-in and duo aborted installation due to there being only 8mb space left on root.
The only plug-ins i have are 'AutoBouquets E2', 'CrossEPG Downloader', 'FlashExpander', 'Media Scanner', 'OpenWebif', 'Picture Player' and 'WWECH 1.0'.
How do I create more space without removing what I have??

Thanks for any help

Doesn't having 'FlashExpander' installed do what you want?

have you checked the hard disk where flash expander mounts to, to make sure it is being used?

You could try to install a swap file. That will solve any VU+ Duo1 memory problems.

The Duo has a limited amount of memory so simply put and not wanting to offend, just don't bog it down with a load of crap in the first place.

My advise would be to flash your duo with no backups and install just what you need to watch the tv.i find it struggles a tadge if you overload with plugins.

no one mentioned cacheflush yet for the duo.

no one mentioned cacheflush yet for the duo.

Cache flush is only useful when the receiver shows evidence of the memory leak issue associated with the 3.1.1 kernel and by the op's post that does not appear to be the case. No need to run another plugin that in my opinion won't do any thing to help and may actually hinder performance.

Thanks to all posters for their opinions. Re-flashed and put in minimum plug-ins and all's well
