I have been using bouquets of channels from 'vhannibal.motor', which populates channel data for all the satellites I ever need to view. However, after working my way through the excellent VIX Manual, I liked the idea of setting up 28.2E with a separate Sky UK channel list. At the moment the BBC and ITV channels are pages apart, so using AutoBouquetsMaker I understand that they would be organised just like a Sky receiver. I would then set up CrossEPG for Sky UK for an easier to use Programming Guide.
I configured and set up for Sky UK for my local area, then pressed Start Scan:- Loading bouquets, Reading Sky UK, Services: 803video 61radio. It then hangs (with the VIX symbol rotating) and after 5 minutes defaults back to 'Start Scan'.
Can anyone help, please.

ABM goes through the lamedb file (which contains the channel data) and updates teh vlaues fro teh services it updated. It takes longer if you have a very large list.

I am pretty sure it completed fine, it returns to the "start scan" whenit has finished. Please double check the log in ABM screen. If there is a problem, please see this thread

Upload the logs and we will look at it.

I enabled 'debug logs', as you suggested and restarted STB. Then found logs in AutoBouquetsMaker.

You have 19000 services in your channel list. ABM is not hanging, just taking a long time.

It is fine.

Thanks for checking out the logs. I still get the original listings downloaded from vhannibal.motor. I thought I would see a new Sky listing with their graphics and their channel order and numbers.

You need to do what it says in post #3 and attach your debug log.

Ok thanks. I'll find out how to do that, then upload the logs.

I think these are the Debug logs. I haven't bothered with all of the 'loading bouquet' entries, as there are too many pages.42089420974209642095420944209342092420914209 042098

There are logs 01,01,1970, which I don't think are applicable.

Can you not just attach the debug log instead of screenshots? You will find the debug logs in /home/root/logs Use an FTP program such as Filezilla to save the logs to your PC first.

And are you sure that there are no ABM bouquets created?
