Kodi 15 and the VU+ PVR Plugin

Hey guys, I'e put off installing the xbmc plugin as the vu+ tuner addon does not work. However starting with Kodi 15 "Isengard" according to the blog post here: http://kodi.tv/kodi-15-0-isengard-alpha-2/ the changelog states "Tuxbox removal. Users of Enigma2 boxes can use the VUPlus PVR add-on"
Which seems like great news! does anyone know when kodi 15 will be made available?

Seeing as it is at the alpha stage only and would then need vu+ to port it could be never... Seriously though if vu+ are serious about keeping the app up to date it could be 12 months for a stable release.
