bootoader question

Hi,
I going to be updating a ultimo for a friend who has just brought one. Just checked the openvix download site and couldn't see a boot loader for it. So I'm assuming there is no need to load any boot loader for the ultimo before updating to the latest image? Can any confirm?

Thats correct, there has never been a bootloader upgrade for the Ultimo as far as I can remember.
