Is it possible to run a bedroom television (Ideally with coax) from my Mut@nt downstairs?

If possible what would i need leads wise?

it would maybe be a better idea to use home plugs and send it over network using cat 5 or a wireless videos sender with a IR extender

hi,you have a few options:
1- rf modulater, using the scart output of your reciever and running a sat cable to your 2nd tv,approx £20
2- hdmi over cat extender approx £50
3- a second enigma 2 reciever with the 2nd tv using looping out from your mutant approx £90
i use option 1 a triax rf modulater which works well and the cheapest option but if your after the best quality picture go for the other 2 options
like ive said ive a rf modulater but intend to upgrade to option 3

Option 2 far superior to shitty rf modulator

Are we talking just a standard HDMI lead? what's an "over cat extender"?

I would need about 20 m and It would need to go outside for a section would this be a problem?

This is it mate >> http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=111450816069
You would run the cat 5/6 cable out your house n back in to where you want it, 20m is perfect. [emoji106]🏼

See the youtube videos

It's not the best of videos so search Youtube for "Video over Cat5"

Cat5E or Cat6 cable is what you would use for Ethernet. It comes in an internal and external (outdoor) grade - just search Ebay for "External Cat5e".

You can use a smartphone app to control the box from the bedroom.

Yes the linked Youtube video in the previous post shows this

1st example found on Ebay - so NOT necessarily a recommendation for equipment, supplier or price.

@amd thank you, carnt think of a worse option than zapping with a bloody phone,am i right in thinking the hdmi extender over cat wont work thru homeplugs?ive already got bloody 7 feeds going in and out of the hole behind my tv,dont think theres any room for another cable.one is going up to my bedroom which ive a magic eye from rf modulater,as andy in earlier post said is pretty pants to be honest so im thinking either hdmi extender or maybe a zero/nano upstairs.
