Hello there, i dont know f i am in the right section here as i am brand new to the forum&not very technically minded. I AM IN Portugal & have a 1.8 mtr round dish with a 4 way LNB & i am not getting very strong snr&agc readings, i am getting between 33% to 42% SNR & 52% to 60% AGC. I have cleaned all the connections a swell as baring back the cable to make sure they are not corroded etc, Can anybody explain to me how high the SNR & AGC should be & what exactly they are please ?

I think you need to be more specific about which Satellites you're trying to tune into and which channels.

The footprint for 28.2E is tiny now and only covers to approx Paris. I'd suggest you're doing well getting the signal you are.

Can you restare what you are actually doing... Streaming or using the 1.8m dish.
If the dish then you will pick up 2E/2F Pan European beam (mostly Sky ) without problem but the UK spot beam channels such as BBC1 will be an issue... Google " Robs Satellite" web site
