Evening all
Attempting to connect to Mut@nt 2400 using FileZilla
I know my I.P. address however don't know what to put as "username" "root" & "port"
Do I need all of these things?
Is there a default password for the Mut@nt?

Any help appreciated.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but try Name - root and Password - dreambox

Sorry I couldn't be of more help mate. I knew feck all about stuff like this, I just looked at my laptop, which connected to my Mut@nd 2400 HD, and that's what the Name and password were on the Dreambox Control Centre.

If it's not that, and it's Dreambox Edit you're using, let me know, and I'll have a look at that.

In ViX the default FTP login details are root (username) and the password is left blank, although some FTP clients require a password in this case any thing will work until you setup one for your self. Default FTP port is always 21.

Thanks Phoenix but still no joy...
I'm getting "Status: Connection attempt failed with "EACCES - Permission denied".
Error: Could not connect to server"

Try DCC (Dreambox Control Centre), a lot better than firezilla n flashfxp imo.

Its a problem with your firewall, beware you may be running more than one.

That's strange buddy. I have a Mut@nt also and always use DCC with no issues. You haven't changed any settings that you know of have ya?

In DCC when you scan/search for your Mut@nt do you see it and does the IP address match and you save it? Do you get the error when you click on the FTP box?
