Time out tuner lock - tuner or internet or both??

Hi Guys

i am hoping someone could shed some light on an issue i am having at the moment.

My mother has a VU+DUO and the issue i am having is Time out tuner lock error message in auto bouquets when i run a scan.


1. i have checked both tuners and set as simple 28.2e.
2. Tuner SNR 56% and AGC was 70%
3 Cannot download EPG (is it because she has slow internet 1mb)
4 checked the F-connectors and they are fine

when i bring the VU box to my house

2. Tuner SNR 91% and AGC was 93%
3 i can download epg fine (79mb) connection

please let me know if you need any more information.

try a scan without the fta channels it worked for me

I've just had this problem. Have a read of this thread. Disabling freesat solved it for me. The link to the file to fix the freesat issue also works great.
