VU plus duo mind of its own

Hi guys

A problem ive had on both my vu plus duo boxes is using vix image every now and then the epg will open up its self. The remote is out of reach of everyone and no way near the box to pick up any infra-red and still the epg just keeps opening on its own. This happens several times throughout the day and this isnt just on one box its on both. Anyone else have the same or similar issue? If so is there a fix?

Could very well be, there have been many documented cases on this very forum of this kind of thing where the TV is erroneously sending commands thus triggering the EPG to popup.

OK i have turned it off so its not enabled anymore but still having the same problem.

Have you disabled it from the tv end or the receiver ?, if from the receiver try from the tv instead. sorry I cant be more specific but it's not my area of expertise.

Restarted E2 since disabling it?
What make of TV are you using?

Yeh done on both ends so no hdmi interaction. Its a Sony smart TV i have and thats with both boxes. (also rebooted box since)
