Does anyone have any info on how to capture a backhaul feed with the Duo2? We can no longer record Sky HD shows with the Duo2 due to Sky no longer supporting the old Thomson boxes but can we still capture backhaul feeds?

Someone in Hungary recorded the 1st race of the IndyCar series from Digi Sport 2 HD. Unlike the normal transmission this didn't have any commercials so you didn't lose any of the laps although there was no commentary on the sections that would have had commercials.

In the UK we can get the IndyCar Series on BT Sport HD. So is it possible for me to capture the backhaul feed?

For a start you will need a motorised dish. Then it depends on the video format - If the colour space is 4:2:0 then fine - if it is 4:2:2 you may be able to decode it on a PC but not view it on the receiver. Also it depends on whether the feed is FTA or not. Have a look at the satelliweb website for feedhunters. Note that the Formula 1 on Digi Sport 2 is a normal transmission and you need a viewing card for it - its is not a feed.
