View Full Version : [VU+ Duo] VU+ Duo Crashing After Update

Hi there,

I have just switched my TV on to be greeted by this error. I cant watch the TV at all after restarting my box it keeps appearing. The only thing I have done in the last 24 hours with it is update it via the Software Update.
I have emailed the logs across to Vix but dont know what there turn around time is for these things and like I say I cant watch anything. Any help with be highly appreciated.

Hard to tell by looking at a picture, but looks like your box doesn't have a working network connection & knows there are updates available.
Power it down & restart it rather than letting it do an E2 crash/restart.

It reboots back into the E2 crash?
Is it connected to your network?

Soooooo I have just managed to get to the Network Settings. It wont acquire an IP Address. I have Un-Plugged the Cable on Both ends (Router and Duo) and also restarting the router. No joy still.

How are you getting to network settings if it's craashing before then?
Maybe, just easiest to reflash.

NOOOOOOOOO IT TAKES AGES TO DO THAT!!! When i turn it on i get around 5 mins before it errors.

Turn off the software update check.
Menu -> Setup -> System -> Software update settings -> Background check = no.

You are really going to have to fix your network issue though & if you're refusing to do a reflash, not much anyone can do to help you.
What build did you update from?

I have managed to drop it back from a back up. All sorted.
