channel 5 poor sound and picture

Hi I have recently updated my vu duo to build 161.

As per instructions it was a fresh install with no back up settings used.

Since the update I am getting a very garbled sound quality on channel 5 only. It seems worse during the adverts. The picture quality is ok with the occasional flicker.

I am in the Scotland west region and I have tried a fresh run of autobouquets by the problem persists.

Anyone else having similar issues.

Assume you did a fresh flash from 155+ without a settings restore?

Channel 5 ok here in the UK on both my Uno and Solo2.

Yes no restore complete fresh install.

Yes got poor weather at present but only is on c5. Everything else is fine.

I have checked all other c5 channels on the same transponder ie c5 + 24, 5 us and 5 star and they are fine. No audio issues or flickering.

Then I would say it's a problem on the broadcasters end.

Thats what I've been thinking. I've googled it and it does seem to be a frequent issue with channel 5. With many reports if similar issues.

The garbled sound is also affecting standard Freesat receivers too - mine has been unwatchable since Saturday on Ch5 (using Scotland East region here)

Try a sacn on a different region, does it still hapen then?
No issues here with CH5 in ROI.

Been the same for me for a while . CH 5 only [Scotland West] Thought it must be the broadcaster or the transponder.
