Can we scrape posters or fanart

Hi guys
I think this may have been mentioned before but can't seem to find the thread.

Basically a cool idea would be for us to be able to scrape either fanart or posters of the programme or movie we are watching in the infobar or epg screens similar to how bbc iplayer displays the poster along with the program description etc.

I presume this could be accomplished in code which applys the jpg to the title or looks for it on imdb.

Something else is maybe it would be able to incorporate the imdb plugin to fetch the images automatically without actually launching the plugin.
