cable autobouquets (not ABM)

hi all
installed cable autobouquets in extensions folder and dvbsnoop in bin folder set permissions to 755 on both files i go in plugin and get error message "autobouquets c2 module has no attributres plugin."

any help on what is wrong please normal sat autobouqet maker works perfect.

Doesn't ABM work for you?

If you are going to use AB Cable, better to install by using the ipk.

ABM get error message module timeout but e2 ABM works but on sat side but not cable side.
tried the ipk method but still same error module no attribute
plug in.

Any other way to get cable ABM working please.

If you are sure that you are using correct Net ID for ABM, the main reason it will fail will be signal related.

For AB cable, just make teh whole folder 755. Double check you have installed dvbsnoop

i have correct net id has cable channels ok , when i install the plugin and set file permission to 755 on dvbsnoop and cable abm . When i go into plugins i get the error message cable autobouquets module no attributes. I dont see the plugin in my plugin folder on vix appollo 156. I can get the e2 plugin to work on sat side but wont scan cable thats why i trying to install cable abm but wont show in plugin folder. I have tried the ipk method but still wont show . I keep getting error message when i go into plugin folder as above.

any help appreciated.

Delete teh cable plugin from your previous attempt. Install the ipk by telnet. Post back the results of your telnet console.

Got tjhe plugin installed and showing in plugin folder now the problem when i start the plugin i get file permission denied . I have set the permissions to 755 , the plugin i am seeing is cable e2 front end and when i start i get file permission denied.

Any help appreciated.

Hi all
Used tenet commands
cd /tmp/
./autobouquets_c2.sh

get permission denied i did login amd get the first login line as

root@quadplus: /var/volatile/tmp# ./autobouquets_c2.sh
-sh: ./autobouquets_c2.sh: permission denied

any help appreciated.

Please remove the version you have installed.

Added a check for dvbsnoop
Modified the bouquet names
Removed the channel number

Transfer to /tmp/ and install by using following command

Just use the GUI for now. You must be on a working channel prior to running the plugin. BBC2 is a good one to use. Or even the EPG channel even though it is blank. There is an example setup on post 1 of that thread.
