Hi
I just wanted to get an idea how good the xtrend 10000 is. It looks like a very capable receiver with nice features. I was not sure how well its supported by openvix tho. Any reason that there no separate thread for this receiver.
Anyone got this box and how well does it run the vix image?
Any problems with this box in terms of hardware?
Would love to see some opinions or reviews.
Thanks

Fast, comprehensive feature rich receiver...... And Xtrend do update their firmware as necessary ( new drivers for ET 8000/ET10000 last week.) .
Runs Vix with no issues
If you dont need hdmi in or transcoding, ET8000 is a good alternative.... Sold my Et8000 & ET10000 some weeks ago to pay for the ET8500's, but they are good boxes.

Well transcoding is a big feature that I like with these boxes. Do you Transcode on Apple or Android?

Transcoding on apple or android shouldn't really come into it, transcoding capabilities of the box should.

Oh ok
I meant how is the transcoding on the fly outside home network? Does it transcode well from mobile devices if the portforwading settings are correct? If download and upload speeds are adequate.
