Dolby Digital 5.1 problem with Vu+ Duo & Black Hole

Hi there,

I'm getting crazy trying to fix this problem, I can't get 5.1 out of the Vu+Duo (neither from HD channels nor from .mkv files).

I've already disabled the dolby digital downmix, but I kept without getting the 5.1

The decoder is connected through a HDMI cable (I've also tried the optical cable without success).

In a previous image I was using (SiF team) I managed to get the Dolby juts by disabling the digital downmix, this make me believe that my hardware setting is correct and working.

Any idea? Any add-on/plugin that might help?

Hmmm
methinks this could be an image problem and not your config, the config you use is correct.

i've not tried the image you refer to, but every and i mean every other image i've tried has worked with them settings.

Using blackhole here and 5.1 works fine through hdmi, remember though not all content is 5.1 ,can't coment on mkv.

Thanks guys for your replies, I eventually worked it out. it was not related to the decoder, but a audio config of the TV (had to select audio: auto and not CPM).
