HI,
I was having lag problems if I used the epg button, or navigating bouquets, got lots of spinning VIX image. I have a motor, so my epg data files are pretty big ( I also use a swap file)
VIX1.3 sets by default to have epg data on internal flash,
(I think before it may have been Hard disk if you had one, I dont ever remember having changed it from internal flash to hard drive anyways!),
So anyways, I changed to hard disk in menu>setup>vix menu>vix settings and (maybe coincidentally) epg starts immediately with no lag and I can navigate bouquets without getting VIX rotating image or lag.
Just wanted to make this observation in case anyone else was having similar problems
