Solo 2 Picons

I have a load of picon's on the computer that i want to sent to the HDD inside the solo2 put the FTP keeps crashing when doing so
Is there anything else I can use to transfer the picon's to the HDD without FTP?

You need to ftp them over to your box, but NOT advisable to put picons on the HDD. Internal flash is the best option, usb is ok too.

On windows 7 go into network and you will be able to drag and drop the picons but may need to enable NFS / Samba on the box

I didn't quite work this out i have sorted it now
I have now sorted this using wsftp-light to transfer the picons from the USB to the hdd into the box

I did advise you not to put picons on the HDD.

be aware that placing picons on the HDD can add upto 5 seconds to the zap time as the HDD has to spin up every single time you change the channel or even pull up the EPG or Info bars.

Just put the picons on a USB and plug into your receiver, no issues then.
