Hi guys,

I have my picons on a USB stick and have adjusted my settings so they show up in the EPG but cannot find how to enable it to show on my infobar.
Any ideas?

What image are you using? Usually in one of the settings you need to tell the box where the picons are located and then restart the GUI.

Had this issue myself after updating to 1.3...turned out there is a setting in Vix Settings to show the picons which was off...all working now :)

If you go to Menu, Setup, ViX menu, Vix Settings ---> in this you can set your picon location.

Then restart the GUI.

It seems that the "picon location" has vanished on my box after the latest VIX 1.3 updates.....

I go to Menu => Setup=>VIX=>Settings and there is no 'picon location' entry :-(

Is this the same for everyone else?

in this order:


/usr/shared/enigma2/
/
/autofs (new vix1.4 automounts, all mounted drives) alphabetical order
/media/ (all mounted drives, inc hdd) alphabetical order
/media/net (all network mounts)

so yes hdd is before usb

so yes hdd is before usb

Is it possible to get the order changed so that the USB is looked at first, my problem is that with HDD first (and it has powered down after 10 mins), there can be a delay when changing channel, just a bit annoying on an otherwise excellent image.....

the usb will be used as first port fir picons in future update as its annoying for the hdd we reaslise but if you remove them from hdd and put in usb then it will go to usb automatically and bypass the hdd
