Timeshift usage

I have question about how the timeshift system works. I have timeshift enabled, it records the current channel all the time and I can access the buffer using pause button.

1. It's 22:00
2. I change to channel X to watch the news (22:00 - 22:15)
3. Somebody calls, have to answer... (cannot watch the news)
4. It's 22:15, weather program starts
5. It's 22:17, I can finally get back to tv to watch the news
6. I press pause
>> There are buffer only to beginning of current program which started 22:15
>> If I press save button, I can select news to be saved (but I don't want to save it, just watch)

The question: Is there way to watch the news without saving it first (how to access all the programs in the timeshift)?

Just to confirm, you enabled "automatically start time shift after"

IIRC
Press < (next to 0) and you should be taken to end of last event. You can then continue rewinding

Yes, I have that setting value "2 seconds". In timeshift mode those "<" ">" buttons worked great :) Thanks Abu!

Sorry to jump in, I know I should probably open a new discussion but the fact that you've had this issue so recently is perfect timing, for me at least... :D

Using the Duo2 and just tried using the < button but all it seems to do is take me to the beginning of the current program?? :confused:

I remember there used to be at least one other setting for the amount of disk space time shift could use, unless I'm mistaken?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To be clear, I'm have the same problem as the OP.
