Is there a led light on front?

How long is the ir extension cable?

For recording... would it be reliable to record to my mutant over nfs? Or would I be better getting a powered caddy?

Many thanks

On all receivers, you can record to HDD of another and/or view too.

How do you do this Abu? I am using remotestream converter plugin to view channels from my solo2 on my zero but I don't recall seeing the ability by using this plugin to view the hdd of my solo2?

Install SAMBA on both machines via the network sub menu in ViX then, network them together. once thats done you can record and view recordings on any of them.

Well.... after finally getting money together ive decided to go for the nano-se.

After having a look at the specs between the zero and nano se, the nano-se edges out a wee bit more.

My spare boxes are starting to pile up lol, got a vu solo, giga se 800 hd and a vu duo, did have a giga quad but gave that to my mate.

I'm a sucker for VU, I've got an Ultimo and Duo, now waiting for my Zero to arrive :) hope it doesn't disappoint!
