Hi everyone,

I plan on buying the TM-Nano-3T very soon, after being on the cable side for almost 8 years.
I would still like to stay on the cable side.
I have a few questions that I would like to ask the forum.

What image would you recommend for W.O.S to install on the box?? I would also like to stream to my pc/laptop if that is possible??
I will use the cable tuner. Now I also have a sly dish wire only the 1 in my living room woud I need a 2 in 1 splitter to split it and fit in to the combo tuners to get the most out of the box?

Thanks for your time and your help..

Welcome. You cannot split a satellite cable. Best to run a separate cable from the LNB.

Internal loop through adds a a bit more functionality, but not as good as separate cable.

Vu+ Solo SE is a single tuner box, so for what you require you would be best going for the technomate 3T combo.

I think you will find that the majority of people here will recommend Vix as being the best image. (Especially as this forum is the 'Home Of The Vix Team'):D

Anyone know how to set up ABM on vix image so I don't always have to scan the cable side of the channels?

Here is a post with video. A bit old, but basics are there

Also, as you have a T2 tuner, can you oblige with this post too

I am closing this thread. Best to start a new thread for different issues

I have moved the streaming posts to a new thread. http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?44558-How-to-stream-from-receiver-to-PC-on-internal-network&p=346660&viewfull=1#post346660

Please note following:

It is best to use the image support section for image issues as problems/solutions are usually the same irrespectve of receiver. It also helps others searching for the same issue although they may have another receiver.

Please read the thread in link below which explains things better.

Please bear in mind for future support questions.
