Softcam keys

Is it possible to use softcam keys with the zero on vix image. I've loaded the latest keyfile into usr/keys but still I can't get (Bulsat) to open. Have looked around and have read some views that this is possible with cccam and some that it isn't. I'd be grateful if anyone van help.
