View Full Version : [VU+ Ultimo] Crash when selecting the VIX menu

Today I upgraded my VU Plus Ultimo via the software upgrade menu of the box.

The led was blinking that there was an update available so i upgraded it.

Everything seemed to work fine, so i wanted to make an image backup to put on a usb stick.

I do this regularly with no problems, until today that is!

When i select the VIX menu the box crashes and restarts.

I tried it 2 times with the same result.

Hope this can be fixed with the next upgrade?

For now i stay away from the VIX menu for obvious reasons, hi!

As Rossi says this is a known bug and has been fixed for the next build. Thanks for reporting it to us though.

If you disable parental controls, it should be fine.

thanks abu, I also updated the software on my duo2 to find the same, it appears after the update recordings are also not completing fully

Recordings completing fully ok here on latest build (152) on both my Vu+ Solo2 and Vu+ Uno, so maybe a user error?

does this mean there could be a problem with the hard drive?

hhhmmmmm Do you use the presets when setting the timers? Is your trashcan empty n do you have sufficient space on your hard drive?
Does your box crash when it fails to finish the recordings?

Having no problems recording today on my Duo2 on Apollo 152 just noticed that Apollo 153 is in the feeds try doing a couch flash

Hi guys did fresh install 153...worked great for good few hrs....then everything just froze...remote doesn't work....cant do anything till you switch off from back
