just bought the zero that arrived today all setup done within minutes (was easy to do). however, i want to install picon by ocram. what is the best way of doing this? ideally i want to do through usb. i have a 8gb usb hard drive attached for EPG can i use the same hard drive for picons?

Ideally you dont want to place picons on a HDD as they will force the HDD to spin up every time you so much as change a channel, this can add upto 5 seconds to the zap time. Picons are best on a USB stick or if you have enough flash on the receiver use that.

You can either download picons from the plugin feeds or manually place the picon folder onto a USB stick.

can i use the same stick as i use for EPG?

If the EPG is on a USB stick then yes but not if it's on a USB hard drive.
