Vu + Duo Verson release dates?

New to forum so take it easy on me...

About to take the plunge and order a Duo. Is there different versions of the Duo released by the manufacturer?

If so so when could I expect a new release - I read about a new release in Jan but have seen nothing concrete?

In regards to latest version, I don't think there will be a latest version for a while, as this one is doing so well. If there is a latest version, I'd also imagine it won't be out for about a month after the news about it is released...
