1080i VuSolo

Anyone got around the issue with build 150, Apollo with regards to every time I select 1080i my screen goes blank. Will only work on 720.

Not a issue as far as I know, more likely the op's TV it self and not the image / receiver.

dam i had a similar issue unsure what build and could only use 720 also on a solo,all my boxes are set to 1080:D
and my new tm is set to 1080 on same tv:wave:

Its just that since I have updated the Vu+ Solo I can only get 720 and when I select 1080i on the Vu the tv screen goes blank then I have to restart the Vu to get my channels back.

Hi Bazzer I can confirm this is an issue. My brother does online updates and has kept his box up-to-date that way n 1080i option was still ok.
I did a fresh usb flash with no restore and selecting the 1080i option just leaves a black screen and I had to turn box off n back on to get the option back up.
I tried both on his Toshiba n Sony tv's with same results, so obviously a bug that has crept in.

Hi I had a similar issue on my solose box..it would only display certain channels and only a few
I could not work it out rebooting fixed issue for a few seconds then off again... till in the end I fresh flashed latest Vix image and clean set up and all became good..
I did couch flash 150 and restored a new backup prior to issues so maybe this was my cause...

I am going to try Build 146 which I am on the understanding that this build will allow me to get the 1080i back . I will let you know how I get on and once again many thanks for your help.:thumbsup:

Another one is .. I have a Seagate Expansion 1TB drive and a 16gb 100 G3 DataTraveler USB and both will not flash on the Vu Solo. I have tried to set up Swop Manager but it will just not have it on both. Anybody suggest a cheap USB that will work on my Solo.

Does your Seagate drive have a power source? Have you formatted on a pc first then connected to Vu+ Solo n Initialised the drive via Storage Devices n then I always mount it via blue button n ViX n mount manager?

When you've done that try setting up your swap file via blue button, ViX Swap Manager and go with the 256mb option. Then yellow button to auto start n green button to activate and should be sorted!! Hopefully anyhow!! :D

you dont flash boxes with hdd,use an 8gb usb on all my vu boxes,kingston,integral,and cruzer format to fat 32 first.

Have you tried any other images such as ATV ?, If it is working in the latest versions of ATV then we know it is something specific to ViX as BH is built on a entirely different platform to the OE-Alliance on which ViX is built. I can't test this my self as I do not have a Vu+ solo.

This happens to me too. Also comes up as DVI and not HDMI. Very odd.
