Cant do online update from Apollo 142 to new 147

Have tried this a dozen times now, but cant get the online update to install.
System goes through the procedure and reboots but still stuck with 142.

Have I missed something ? a friend updated his solo2 from a much earlier version to 147 without any problem.
Would prefer to avoid doing a complete reset and reflash if possible.

Do a telnet update and you'll be fine.


init 4 && opkg update && opkg upgrade && init 6

Just saw the post about 6 or 7 down; sorry :)should have posted there instead of starting a new thread. Will follow advice offered.

Thanks Sicilian, followed your advice and everyhing ok. Notice that this version has much faster switching times between channels !
