loop/always 2 software updates, is this a problem/bug?

Hi,

When using software update I always get 2 new packages found. After reboot and excecuting software update again, always 2 packages are found time after time.
Could it be those packages aren't installed after reboot and because of that always come back in software update?
Maybe this is also the reason that channel + button doesn't open channellist?

The little channel + problem is solved mean while thank's to you silverfox (see other thread)
Concerning 2 updates that always come back :
After software update and 2 updates showed, I've shut down box at back. Restarted, did update again, same result : 2 updates coming back. Same result with reboot with menu.

personally i'm stuck y thats happening and thre wont even b a log to look at

might need to wait for andy to look at this and giive his opinion

Ok no problem. I just wanted to give this information to help. It's also the same problem when I do GUI restart.
Hope Andy will find explanation.

Surely the channel +/- button should do exactly what it says ie. up or down one channel? That's what it does for me - I get annoyed when different images use this a different way.
To get the channel list I use up or down arrow.

the defaut is what you expect it to be +er

I expect the expected:
eg. volume + = volume up
channel + = channel up

etc.

Still have the same problem with the 2 software updates that are coming back again after soft or hard reboot, also when using on and off button at backside of vu+ duo
Any news yet how this comes and if this is problem?
Another thing I saw is that the spinner disapears out off DCC (I guess also in other ftp program) when rebooting after software update.

Hi,

I reflashed vix 1.3 on my vu+ duo and everything is ok. All the software updates were executed from the first time, so no more loops from 2 updates. Problem solved :)
