Place enigma in sleep mode with a telnet session and the init 4 command.
FTP to /etc/enigma2/ and delete the timers.xml and autotimers.xml files.
now reboot your receiver.

That should sort it.

If you look at my signature, there is a link to a guide on how to use Putty.

Install putty. Paste this command

init 4 && rm -rf /etc/enigma2/timers.xml && init 3

Place enigma in sleep mode with a telnet session and the init 4 command.
You cannot edit file that are kept in live memory. This is why you have to stop Enigma from running using the "init 4" comand.

FTP to /etc/enigma2/
Using a file transfer program such as filezilla, go to the following folder /etc/enigma2/

and delete the timers.xml and autotimers.xml files.
Should be self expalanatory. Otherwise, Right click the files and click on delete

now reboot your receiver.
As the corrupt files are now deleted, your system should boot normally.
