View Full Version : frozen vu plus solo2
switched on today and box appeared frozen, had to power down to reboot and now stuck at openvix splash screen, any help please
Reflash to build 136 from www.openvix.co.uk then you can go from there.
Sorry to waste everyone's time, I cracked it, ftp'd into box and found a back up image, flashed using it and all working well, one slight issue, in plugins showing feeds are down, any links on this
Its probably an old image and the feeds wont work with it. Back up your settings and reflash with build 136
as above which exact build are you currently running ?.
vu+solo2. chipset BCM7356, CPU BCM 7346B2, CORES 2, VERSION ZEUS, BUILD 023, KERNEL 3.3.8.
DRIVERS 2014.04.03
That's whats on image info screen.
Thats why, Zeus no longer has access to the plugin feeds, you need to flash a newer image, look on www.openvix.co.uk for Apollo build 136 and flash that.

135 and 136 have been removed owing to the non-booting issue. Flash 132, you can then update to 137 without a problem.
if I flash with Apollo will I lose all my settings and current plugins etc

yes thats what a reflash does.
Flashed and set up as new box 132 first then flashed 137, followed the instructions on the new box set up, channels working great but no plugins in the downloads just an empty screen, any help appreciated

The plugin feeds are currently down while we rebuild the entire Apollo image line, this could take upto three days to complete. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but it was a necessary step to take to fix a number of recent bugs that have crept into the image.
Just to update this thread, all system is now working first class, working with build Apollo 142, updated through normal method and all plugins working. Happy Vu+solo 2 user. Well done all
I'm all sorted too, thanks to all involved.
