setting up hardrive

well for the past four hours been setting up vu+solo2 with the help of guides and the one thing i thought wouldbe a breeze is getting the internal harddrive settup to record and so i can pause rewind but its doing my head in the guides are no help they dont really tell you what you have to do and cant fined any info how you do that its an amazing box but the book that comes with it easy setup guide is only fit to wipe your backside with so can some one point me in the right direction please

I presume that it is a Internal Drive and you are running vix and take no notice that mine days External it will work the same
press the menu button, then press setup then system, go to storage devices and press initialization, hopefully you should see your drive highlighted press ok, and you should see initialise in red at the bottom of the screen Press the RED Button and your Solo2 should configur your Hard Drive
